Bankers Life and Casualty Company Gains National Recognition for its Training Initiatives

CHICAGO  - Bankers Life and Casualty Company was recently recognized by two national trade magazines for excellence in its field and home office employee training programs.

Training magazine, the leading business publication for learning and development professionals, named Bankers a finalist in its Training Top 125, a ranking of company excellence in employer-sponsored training and development programs. The company secured a spot among the top companies after being assessed on a range of qualitative and quantitative factors, including financial investment in employee development, the scope of development programs, and how closely development efforts are linked to business goals and objectives.

Bankers was also honored with a Learning in Practice award for Innovation presented by Chief Learning Officer magazine, the foremost resource in workforce learning and development. The award, which recognizes transformational and visionary practices and leaders in enterprise education, was presented to Bankers for the design of the company’s New Agent training program, New Agent Success (NASv). Bankers was chosen from a record number of top learning organizations and solution providers.

“We have a long-standing commitment to training and development at Bankers,” said Scott Perry, president. “This focus is critical in helping to achieve our goals of meeting the needs of our customers, advancing the professional development of our associates, and remaining competitive in our industry. The recognition we are receiving on our programs is confirmation that we are succeeding.”
